Dedicated ~/Claude-Workspace/ directory with context/ (standing files), projects/ (active work folders), outputs/ (where Claude delivers finished work). Limits blast radius and separates concerns.

Cowork has real read/write access to whatever folder you share. A clean structure prevents Claude from touching unrelated files and makes project-specific context easy to point at.

How to Get It
In Claude Cowork: Open the Customize panel in the sidebar → Folder Instructions, and paste the instructions below. Claude will follow them automatically in that folder.
In Claude Code: Add these instructions to your project's CLAUDE.md file, or paste them into your conversation and ask Claude to save them.
## Workspace Folder Structure Set up your Claude workspace folder like this: ~/Claude-Workspace/ context/ → about-me.md, brand-voice.md, working-preferences.md projects/ → one subfolder per active project templates/ → reusable document templates memory/ → memory.md or structured memory files output/ → completed deliverables Point Claude Cowork at ~/Claude-Workspace/ as your project folder. Each project subfolder can have its own CLAUDE.md with project-specific instructions.
